  • Overview

    $1,000.00 signing bonus, $500 at 90 days and $500 at 6 months.

     

    This position is OD grinding on steel parts.

    Responsibilities

    • Follow weekly schedule to grind jobs to meet shipping deadlines.
    • Able to read and interpret prints.
    • Able to use all inspection related tooling required to produce acceptable parts.
    • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
    • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
    • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
    • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
    • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate to join the Century team will possess the following:

    • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
    • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
    • Ability to follow directions written or verbal.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Be detail oriented.
    • High level of integrity.
    • Experience with CNC Grinders is preferred but not required.
